The second edition of Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018 started on 30th March 2018. The event lasted for 3 long days where various designers presented their collection. Here are some highlights of Day 1 of Bombay times fashion week 2018:
Nandita Mahtani Collection at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018
The very popular designer Nandita Mahtani showcased her designs that were all about metallic and shimmery/blingy outfits. Sonakshi Sinha turned out as the showstopper for Nandita Mahtani and she looked stunning in a golden bling short dress.
Designer Mandira Wirk Collection at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018
Designer Mandira Wirk also presented her collection on the first day of Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018. Her designs were all about the pastel beach maxi dresses and gowns. Malaika Arora was the showstopper who looked dreamlike in a white sheer dress with open wavy hairs and minimal makeup.
Designer Tasneem Merchant Collection at BTFW 2018
Designer Tasneem Merchant also presented her collection which was a mix of tussar fabric, khadi, leheriya prints, off shoulder gowns, jumpsuits etc. Actress Neetu Chandra was the showstopper for the designer. She wore a lovely grey gown as showstopper.
Designer Rina Dhaka Collection at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018
Designer Rina Dhaka collection was all about the golden color. Beautiful sarees, palazzos, lehenga choli were presented in her collection. Her collection was perfect for wedding season. Divya Kumar Khosla and Manasvi Mamgai were the showstopper for Rina Dhaka.
Wendell Rodricks Collection at BTFW 2018
Inspired by nature and eco-friendly fabrics, Wendell Rodricks collection was a hit on the ramp. His saree collection was loved and everyone praised the unique saree draping styles presented by the models. Arshad Warsi turned the showstopper and looked stunning in a black Patiala bottom with short kurta and a long bandghala jacket.
